A new step in the history of the province – a home for the mentally sick women. Santhi Bhavan was started on 3rd January 2017. The home was constructed at the site donated by Rev. Fr. Enas Ottathengumkel and his family. At present there are 20 mentally ill women. All of them are from very poor family background. The local people support this home as they can. The construction of the home is on running. The members of this home are happy and satisfied. They are treated with love and maternal affection. The sisters are always with them and try to bring them to a normal life through medicine, prayer and various vocational trainings like vegetable gardening, cooking,rosary making and cultural trainings and Yoga. |
