Alphonsa Balikabhavan is situated in the town area of Changanassery, surrounded by many religious convents, educational institutions and the Bishop’s house. Here our sisters protect and look after the poor and destitute girls and except parish activities. 25 girls from very poor and broken family backgrounds are admitted here. They are give school education as well as opportunity for integral growth. Mr. & Mrs. George Moozhayil donated the building to the province to begin a home for girls in memory of their departed daughter Ms. Reena Thomas. It was blessed by 11th October 2008, by Rev. Fr. Antony Poroorkkara, Vicar Changanacherry Cathedral. |
